How To Treat Macular Degeneration In A 83 Years Od Female With History Of Severe Stroke?
I had a brain MRI in march 2013 and it was normal and I started having breathing problems in may had all breathing test the said it was normal except for excercising stress test all said breathing 50% of what I should be seen a cardiologist since June of last year had all the heart test all say normal and then since may of last year have had a lot of neurology problems a new system every month in October a MRI said small venous adnormality in the right occipal lobe just went and had a eye test today and he said need a spinal tap done to rule out Parkinson's, ms , brain tumors etc seen 8 neurologist all says the don't know head tilts to one side, right eye going inward head been shaking till sat midnight what could this mean?
Hello Macular degeneration is a common problem of old age seen in people aged more than 65 years. It seems the patient is aged 83 years with history of stroke and she is having associated neurological problems as well. Macular degeneration is treated by using intravitreal injections of antivascular endothelial growth factors or by laser photocoagulation depending on the satge of the disease.
