How To Treat Nasal Fracture?

Dear Sir , my son4year old, he felldown one week before from staircase,he got injury in nassal,in x-ray showing nassal hairline fracture.my son absuletely fine but little pain in nose,injury recover now no any blood coming but still little swellingis there .please suguest me what i can do.what treatment give him,how to reduced swelling.one doctor say go for minor sugery for keeping nose strait way in future.

Hello

If the nose is straight , you dont have to do anything , as the fracture will heal by itself. For the time being you can apply some ice on the swelling to reduce it.
You can also give your child paracetamol 250 mg for pain , please dont touch or move the fracture site as it may get dislocated.
