How To Treat Persistent Cough In A 3 Years Old Child While On Defcort 4 Ml?
hi dr Samuel .. my three year old baby had persistent cough for almost 15 days . The doc prescribed defcort 4 ml to her for 5 days .along with it mits linctus , levolin syrup and moxclav antibiotic . . she is also on budecort , asthalin and serobid inhalers for three months . The doc asked me to stop defcort after 5 days . I am worried as it is a steroid and also should i stop it so abruptly after 5 days or gradually . We are travelling and i am worried what if her symptoms return while we are away . pls advice . Thank you !!
