I have had a persistent cough since June. The lung dr. ran a scope down my bronch tube and told my husband my throat was red and covered with thin, white mucus. What could this mean? I don t go back for results for several days, and am wondering what it could be. My throat isn t sore at all.
Throat red with mucus - may be the acute pharyngitis with post nasal discharge over it. Do gargles, steam inhalation. If you feel a bit soreness. Otherwise, there is nothing to worry about.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
