How To Treat Sharp Pain In Lower Left Stomach?

I just went through a real bad sharp pain in my lower left hand stomache -- felt like I was going to black out -- then it gradually went away in about 30 minutes -- I was OK then laid down to go to sleep and started to taste blood -- I have had a previous hernia sergery --

* There are various reasons for such pain as - acute gastritis - intestinal
colic - renal or ureter calculus - spleen enlargement - food induced
infection - others .
* Need clinical examination and if required ultrasound for precise diagnosis
and management accordingly . But in general you have to
- Take soft , light diet at present
- Avoid spices , chilly , alcohol , smoking
- Proton pump inhibitor as prilosec and anti spasmodic as drotaverine will
give instant relief from it
