Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
How To Treat The Condition Of Irregular Heart Beat?
5 month olds heart beats irregularly. my 5 month old was sleeping on my chest while I was sitting up and all of a side his heart stated beating out of his chest that you could see his cloths moving up and down then it went down and he had some palpitations and was whimpering like if it hurt. then he was ok for the rest of the night. what could this be?
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. Possibility of arrhythmia (rhythm disturbances in heart) is more. And most common cause for arrhythmia in 5 month old child is congenital heart diseases (CHD). So better to consult pediatric cardiologist and get done 1. Clinical examination of heart 2. Ecg 3. 2d echo. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your child. Thanks.
