Hi and welcome to HCM..
I thank you for posting your query here and I'm definitely going to help you out..
I being a surgeon, we encounter so many such cases day in and day out..
I read your question completely and have understood it well enough..
I shall analyze your urine report completely..
But it would have been better if I knew your age and gender. Because most of the urological diseases are age and gender specific.
Also, it would have been of great help, if you had told me the symptoms and why you got this test done.
Anyway, I will analyze the report and tell you the possible diagnosis and also, how to proceed further..
1. Specific gravity and acidic ph is normal..
Do not worry about this..
2. Protein traces and
glucose negative is again a good thing, I congratulate on this..
3.
Wbc is high, normally it should be less than 5 or some articles say less than 3.
More than 20 is definitely suggesting
urinary tract infection, Uti.
Please get, Urine culture and sensitivity.
This will tell us, the organism responsible for causing Uti and also, the antibiotics to be started.
3.
Rbc, and rest all other things are normal..
Again no worries.
4. Please get a culture and then we can proceed with the treatment..
5. Prevention is
A. Hygiene
B. Drink lot of water.. Around 4 to 5 litre a day
C. Do not hold on the urine, for long time.. This will promote
bacterial growth..
Hope this helps you..
In case you need any further assistance, please let me know..
God bless you and take care..
