Hurt Finger. Nail Hanging, Small Lump Formation At The Side, Skin Near Cuticle Pulled Back. Will It Get Back To Normal?
Hi. I injured my finger on a ceiling fan, and a month later now half the nail is hanging off, also the skin at the shart of the nail was pulled back so it looks like i have an extra long nail. there is also a lump of skin that has also formed on the side of the nail. Will the nail grow normally and will I need to get the (extra) skin removed. And will the nail go back to normal? Thanks, jake

Hi,
It seems that your injured nail will come out within short time.
If there is some infection still, go for one antibiotic medicine course after consulting your doctor.
Go for proper dressing by your doctor.
Apply antibiotic cream locally.
New nail will grow after old one caomes out.
Ok and take care.
