Hurt When Went To Toilet. Subsided. Dehydration?

Hi, I woke up the other day and went to the toilet and it hurt when I went but I could wee so that's why I am confused and don't think it was a water infection, however it was painful and it only lasted around about 2 hours and then it went all together and it hasn't returned, I was wondering what it could be? Could it be that I was a little bit dehydrated?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
You had painful defecation and pain was there for 2 hrs after defecation. How many days you are free from pain is more important. Little bit dehydration is not connected with this. Even though it occurred once (as per your statement) better to consult a surgeon and have the rectal examination
to rule out other causes of pain like Piles, Fissure or Fistula in ano. Motion examination to rule out amebiasis is a must
Best wishes
