Hysterectomy Done. Pain On Left Side, Swollen Inside, Shooting Pains. Cause?

I had a complete hysterectomy including taking out the ovaries a year ago. I constantly still have pain on my left side and across what I call my bikini line. I also always feel "swollen" inside, and get shooting pains. My surgeon is no longer available due to being military and I'm waiting for a new dr . Do you know what could be possibly causing this?

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

You need proper clinical examination and investigations. Investigations include routine hemogram ,urine RM/ME,X-ray KUB and Ultrasound of abdomen.
You may have calculus in KUB region, PID, UTI etc. These possibilities will be excluded after examination and investigations.
Further treatment depends upon findings.
Get well soon.

Take Care
