I Am A Bit Scared About Rectal Bleeding, Please Help

I read that it can be a sign of cancer! The blood is bright red, and when I have a BM it hurts. It really stings and even burns sometimes. I've had this before, but I'm starting to worry about it. It's healed before, but then tears open bleeds and heals again. It does this over and over again. What is it? Hemorrhoids, cancer (eek), or something else? Please help!

Buy a stool softener. You could just be dehydrated causing you stool to be very hard and will hurt when you have a BM.
