I Am Having Varicose Veins On My Left Leg

I am having varicose veins on my left leg from past 1 year now a days they have become really big and there is colour change also. the doc advised me to undergo surgery, after surgery will the varicose veins will be cured ?

my father in law has it. u should try to meet some good doctor with a personal touch. my father in law now wearing some kind of socks, specially made on order, very very very effective in controlling the vericose veins. u must consult a good doctor and ask for socks, wear them as suggested by doctor, change them after every few months as advised by a doctor, keep always one extra pair handy. trust me u will get relief. Surgery is good modality for varicose veins. We have other treatment options also- Ablative procedures, including sclerotherapy, endovenous radiofrequency or laser ablation. U can consider any of the following (depending upon the advice and ur comfort). All are good and effective.

why not? we got the surgery done for my uncle for both legs..he is fine now..he too wa shaving varicose veins

i think there is an operation for that but best way to prevent is..by not standing for longer duration of time...

i want to guide you more in this, i asked my friend doctor, he said to use pillows below the legs and foot area. this will reduce the varicose veins

My mother is a teacher. She needs to stand for long time in the class room. She got some veins visible on her legs. We saw a doctor he told this is varicose veins. It occurs if you stand for long time daily. He also told she needs surgery to cure this.
