Hello.Welcome to HCM forum.May be oral hypoglycemic drugs are loosing effect on you.Normally 8 to 10 years after starting, oral hypoglycemic drugs loose their effect and patient has to be put on inj. Insulin. This results from total destruction of beta cells of pancreas which are responsible for production of insulin.don't take any medicine yourself and consult your physician or diabetologist for the proper treatment. Thanks and good luck.
Hi, Welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum.
Please do not change the medicines by yourself, first you get yourself examined by a Diabetologist and then ask for a change of drug. Exercise regularly and go for a brisk walk for 40 minutes daily. This will keep your Blood sugars in check.
Take Care.
