Hi,
Welcome to HCM,

Nexium usually does not cause weight gain. It is important to know that how much you have gained, and within what time period. There could be several other reasons for weight gain. It is also important to know that for how long you have to take Nexium, and what is the real indication of prescribing Nexium. It is better if weight gain is significant, you consult the Doctor.
Long term use of Nexium can cause osteoporosis specially in females. We should always use judicially any medicine and never without consulting a Doctor.
You are welcome for any further query.
