I Had A Miscarriage. Would Next Pregnancy Effect Me Again ?
had a miscarriage next pregnancy would effect me again or not hi i was pregnant about 2 months ago but i had a miscarriage but i think that i might be pregnant again i wanted to know if this would effect me again

After one miscarriage your risk of having another one is not increased. So most doctors do not suggest doing any testing after one miscarriage. Having said that, it also depends on your medical history. For example, some second trimester abortions may be associated with an incompetent cervix, but most first trimester abortions are due to chromosomal anomalies, and the next pregnancy will usually end in a healthy baby.

As you had abortion 2 months back and again you became pregnant so as such there is no problem but the only risk is about health of coming baby. Because abortion causes decrease in haemoglobin level and immunity level of mother so it would be more safer to go for next pregnancy after at-least 6 months once you had abortion.

Hi,thanks for query.Yes there are chances of abortion this time also.Please remain in constant follow up with your gynecologist as during this time some hormonal deficiency plays a role can lead to abortion again,ideally after abortion some tests are mandatory to know the reason why this has happened.Any ways visit your doctor and do the needful as advised.wishing you all the best this time.Dr.Pragnesh,family physician

there is no any risk in 2nd pregnancy but your past history is importent for pregnancy ,you go for regular checkup by gynacologyst i hop your next pregnancy will end in a healthy baby.
