I Had A Salpingectomy In Which They Removed The Left Fallopian Tube Due To A Very Large Cyst. Now I Am Experiencing Pain

Age: 28 Medical History: Surgeries: Tonsillectomy @ 25; Salpingectomy @ 26; laparoscopic knee surgery @ 26 I had a salpingectomy in which they removed the left fallopian tube due to a very large cyst ...I think it was a little over 2 years ago. The recovery took a long time-6 months, as my Dr. was an absolute quack who didn t diagnose my post-op infection. Anyway, I went back on the pill afterwards, as my post-op cycles were really terrible in terms of bleeding and cramps, and the pill helps. I m off the pill for this month, due to my Dr. having to call in a refill, and I m noticing pain on the left side where I had the surgery, about a 4 I d say on a pain scale, which is surprising since it s been so long. I m going to give it a couple days and if it doesn t go away, call my Dr. I m surprised that this pain comes with my being off the pill and am wondering if it s just normal twinges at the scar site. Thanks Katy

Hello ,
Your symptoms seems that you have salpingitis .     The most vulnerable time of infection is postpartum period, post-abortion and post menstrua. The birth canal ,placental detachment surface and endometrial denudation surface is injuried in the period of childbearing and abortion which are the path that pathogen infect genital organ. Sometimes, the infection is caused by relaxed sterile surgical procedure, such as the placement of IUD, Dilation & Curettage; hydrotubation; HSG and so on.
I suggest you to treat with tradition Chinese medicine -Fuyan Pill ,It can cure the disease about 3 months .

Hi,
Thanks for query,
This pain may be due to Adhesion formed after surgery and due to infection as it took long time for healing.
Gio for ultrasound and find out the cause.
Ok and bye.
