hello and welcome to healthcare magic!!
papilledema is a sign of increased intra cranial pressure if you have been put on medications to decrease the same after ascertaining the cause i think it will help you to lead a normal life just make sure you get yourself checked out regularly.
Hi, welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum.
Papilledema is an optic disc swelling that is secondary to elevated intracranial pressure. Have you got a CT or MRI Scan done? A lumbar puncture is performed following a normal MRI to assess the opening pressure of the CSF and to obtain CSF for analysis to rule out neoplastic and infectious etiologies. It may provide some therapeutic benefit, as the CSF pressure is reduced temporarily. Which medications are you on? Go to your Neurologist regularly and stick to your treatment plan.
Take care.
