I Have Been Consistently Smelling Cigarette Smoke. Is There A Connection With My Hypothyroidism?

I have been consistently smelling cigarette smoke for the past week. Cigarettes are no where to be found around me & is even forbidden on my property. I am the only one in a family of a 5 to smell it. Is there a connection to my hypothyroidism or could it be something else?

Hello,
Good day.
It is a peculiar situation where you alone are smelling cigarette smoke. There is no direct connection of this feeling with hypothyroidism. However, i must say that smoking either directly or passive smoking is not good for thyroid as the thiocyanates in cigarette smoke is harmful to thyroid.

You should discuss your case with an ENT doctor
