Ice Picked Scars Due To Black Heads. Will MSM Cream Or Supplements Help In Reducing Pitted Scars?
Hi Dr, i have icepicked scars due to blackheads. What can we do so that blackheads dont leave scars. Moreover i have done a lot of research and have got to hear a lot of success stories of MSM cream (Dimethyl Sulfoxide) or supplements can help in reducing pitted scars. I have not been able to find a brand which sells such creams/ supplements. Please suggest if my research/ understanding is correct.

The best treatment for blackheads would be get them extracted regularly. Use of adapalene cream in affected area would prevent further blackhead formation. If possible take salicylic acid peels.
If these are really ice pick scars, no cream would help. Go with micro needling procedure or microdermabrasion. Please meet a dermatologist for the same.
