Hi and thanks for asking to HCM

I understand your concern.

Fetal pole (fetal node), a thick spot near the yolk sac, is the term used for the earliest signs of a baby in an early pregnancy ultrasound -- before the baby has formed a recognizable human shape. With a transvaginal ultrasound, the fetal pole becomes visible around 6 weeks of gestation.

It should have been visible by now, but in few cases it may be visible bit late. Repeat ultrasound after few days and if still not visible it may indicate a miscarriage. Although miscarriage is one possibility, a small error in dating the pregnancy can throw that off because the early pregnancy development varies so much from one day to the next.

Mostly your doctor might suggest another scan in short time, wait for that and hope for best

Regards
Dr Santosh
