Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Infant. Multiple Vomiting Episodes Followed By Loss Of Appetite. BM Normal, Less Food And Formula Intake. No Other Symptoms. Concerning?
My 10 month old daughter started throwing up last night (not spit up, she was dry heaving before) She vomited 4 times and then finally went to sleep. Today she has not vomited at all, but has lost her appetite. She has only eaten one 8 oz bottle of formula and one 4 oz jar of food. Other then that she has only taken to Pediatric. She is not lethargic and acting herself. She has had two bowel movements today which is normal for her. I am just not sure if this is something I should be worried about or not. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic. This vomitings could be due to an episode of gastritis. As of now the vomitings are not there, so nothing to worry. But if there are further episodes of vomitings, you can give anti emetic like domperidone in prescribed dose. Give sips of oral rehydration solutions to prevent dehydration. Hope I have answered your query. Regards.
