Infant Had Convulsions Post Fever, Mild Cold. No Relief With Medicines. Help?
My 7 month old daughter had a fever about 1 month back, which lead to convulsions. The fever became better after a week, the doctor prescribed nebulisation only stating that the fever was because of phlegm in chest. Today again she s had convulsions suddenly because of fever, she s had a mild cold all through the past month, but no temperature. All the cold wipes and crocin is not bringing the temperature down, please help.

As there is history of febrile convulsion, do not take it lightly.
To know the cause of having fever is to be investigated.
Simply antipyeritic medicine is not enough.
Consult your pediatrician and get diagnosed and start the treatment as soon as possible.
Keep child well hydrated.
