Infant Has Fever And Crankiness After Vaccination. Given Crocin, Fevril And Promethazine. Is This Normal?

My baby is 2 months old, of decent wieght. Was given 6th week vaccinations yesterday. From that time baby is very cranky and have slight fever and he is not able to sleep. We have given crocin drops once in night, the fever subdued little, but he keep crying.
Can we give Fevril syrup (Paracetamol + Promethazine analgesic) to each his pain?

Hi,

Thanks for consulting HealthcareMagic!

Slight fever and feeling little uneasy is common after most vaccinations. However, to decide what kind of medications to be given we need to rule out few other causes of symptoms after physical exam.

It would be unethical and inappropriate to prescribe you scheduled drugs without doing a proper examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have have any clarifications. If not, you can close the discussion and rate the answer.
