Infant Has Rash Over Body After Treatment For Gastroenteritis, Seems To Be Fussy. Emergency?
My daughter was is children hospital for a couple of days ago due to gastroenteritis . She is almost 9 months old. She was out on the 23rd. This morning, i found she started to have rash all of her face and body. But she did not vomit , not have fever , just a little fussy while she slept last night. Do I need to seek emergency help at this moment?

Any new food is given to kid? Any change in bathing soap? Any new clothes or new bedsheets used? It is looking like allergic rash as there are no other associated problems. You can apply a calamine containing lotion to skin over the rash and itching is there you can give oral antihistamine drug so consult your Pediatrician for the diagnosis of rash and specific traement.
