Infant Vomiting All Medicines And Food Given For Enteroviral Infection. How To Manage This Condition?

My 10 MO daughter has high fever, running nose, cough, loose stools, vomiting, refusal to eat food, etc. The doctor confirmed that she is having a viral fever (interoviral infection) and prescribed paracetamol syrup (Calpol 250mg - 3ml/dose), T Minic drops (12-0-12), Emeset syrup (3ml/dose), Bifilac (1 sachet/30ml water).

The issue is that her body is not accepting any of these: she pukes everything out (even the food she had last). We even tried giving Emeset alone so that the vomiting stops and we could give other medicines. But the result is the same: she is puking out all that is in her stomach.

Is there any way that I can help her take her medicines and help her improve her health condition?

Thanks!

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
The vomiting may not be due to the fever also besides the irritation of the medicines.
It appears that the emeset didn't work for her, so with your doctors advise you can try other medicines like ondecitron, phenergan etc and paracetamol, when ever there is fever.
Once vomiting feeling is controlled you can start the other medicines.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
