Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i recently reinjured my foot ( a lis frank fracture left foot) and since then it has been swollen and very painful..i was wearing a prosthetic boot and was given steroid treatment and was told to keep the weight off..recently two swollen lumps came up on either side of my leg and my hip bones are very sore..but it varies each day especially at night..today i feel like another lump is coming up on my other leg..what could this be? it looks like a bruise and painful th the touch..
If there is a frank fracture in the left foot then why was steroid injection given and no immobilization done of the fractured area? It is very difficult to suggest anything for the lumps without assessing them. I suggest that you consult your orthopedic surgeon who shall be in a better position to guide you further both for the fracture and the lumps that you are mentioning.
I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.
Wishing you an early recovery.
