Inquiry On The Bridge Of The Nose. Left Eye Swollen With Terrible Headache. Treatment?

On Saturday I got hit hard on the bridge of my nose by the lid of my washing machine. I instantly felt dizzy & light headed. Tears were streaming down my face. As of today, it is still extremely tender to the point that it hurts to the touch and I can't wear my glasses for very long. I have a terrible headache and yesterday my left eye swelled. What do I do now?

Hi,
I sounds like a painful but not serious injury that will get better. Take simple pain killers for your headache, paracetamol and anti-inflammary drugs. Plenty of fluids to keep well hydrated as this will reduce the chance of the headache getting worse. The swelling of your eye is likely to be a black eye that will resolve over the next week. Although it may look worse before it gets better. You should try to rest and lie down if you feel unwell and a cold compress to your eye area may help.
