Intoxication, Increased Spaciness, Pressure In Face In Front Of Ears Since Drinking Whiskey For The First Time. Related?

I drank whiskey for the first time 4 days ago and got intoxicated. The next day, I felt spacey and very hungover with the shakes. Since then, I have been having pressure comee and go in my face right in front of my ears, like around my TMJ . My ears also feel strange at times. What could this be? Is it related to drinking?

Hello and welcome,
Thanks for posting your query.
Since you got intoxicated due to intake of whiskey for the first time, the drink may have caused pressure in your face ,ears and TMJ.
Usually in such cases, the pressure will last only till the effect of whiskey remains.
If the symptoms persists even after 4-5 days, please do visit a dentist as well as ENT SPECIALIST.
Your dentist can examine the TMJ and check any anomaly associated.
If there is sinus infection,it has to be treated.
If required, gastric lavage has to be done.
Take complete course of antibiotics-analgesics too.
Drink plenty of water and fluids.
Maintain oral hygiene well.
Take care.
