Hi.. Seizure is a result of an abnormal electric signal from the brain.  When a person has a seizure he is unaware of the surrounding. This results in injuries due to the convulsion. Hence all measures to prevent injuries are to be taken. Holding a hard iron metal helps in preventing the injuries to the hand.. It has no role in stopping the convulsion...
