Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I just had a breast reduction and now want to start a healthy lifestyle / diet regime. I have heard from some that HCG will aid with my weight loss. Since my breast grew very large during pregnancy I am leary of using this...The las thing I want is my breasts growing. How do you feel about HCG, and will it make them ( my breasts) grow?
Good day! To answer your question directly, yes, there may be some swelling of the breast (even in men) and tenderness. How do I feel about HCG? I am distressed that it is still available in some parts of the world. It has been found to have a dangerous chemical in it and here in America it is banned, illegal to sell. The diet that comes with it is dangerously low in nutrients and can cause quite a few side-effects. Please look into a calorie controlled diet combined with a proper exercise routine and look at it as a lifestyle change, not a temporary diet to take pounds off quickly if you want to avoid the yo-yo syndrome. Thank you for visiting HCM and come back again! Kathryn Shattler, MS,RDN
