HI i am 19 years old and i have the birth control, Mirena. They placed it knowing that i have not had children ( i guess its supposed to be easier if i have had children before). This is my third year with Mirena ive been having some pressure in my lower abdomen and I dont know if it's because of my birth control. Im 5'7" - 5'8" ish and im about 250lbs.
A constant feeling of pressure in uterus, dizziness or persistent lightheadedness are felt by some women after Mirena. Sometimes there can be very heavy bleeding, pain during sector pain in lower part in cervix is felt, it show displaced IUCD. Cramping and pelvic pain and heaviness can be seen in some women. There is risk of pelvic infection is seen in some women.
It should be avoided in patients who have cervical erosion, uterine abnormality like fibroids, pelvic inflammatory disease, and irregular menstruation, and migraines patients. It also can causes breast tenderness, mood changes should be avoided below 20 years of age, sending prescription of high blood pressure.
