Is A Mole On The Toe An Indication Of Skin Cancer?
I'm a 30 year old fair skinned male with blond hair as long as I can remember I have had. Mole on the inside right index toe almost at the base webbing. it's maybe 5-7 mm and has been there as far back as my parents and I can remember. Until tonight I've never really pulled my toes to look at it but on doing so it appears almost perfectly round with a almost perfect uniform circular border. The color of the mole near the top of my foot is brown which I can see while standing and maybe turns red/brown half way through.
I have never been nervous of it till tonight when I stumbled on a skin cancer article. Now it's occupied all of my thoughts. Maybe a year and a half ago my dermatologist removed a small raised mole from the top of my left foot that came back normal.
hello user, The moles are normally seen in body and are always benign, except for some cases where we see ABCDE, we consider it abnormal. A= Asymmetry B=Border irregularity C=Color change D=Diameter of mole (increasing) E=Elevation of mole.
The chances of above features are very rare, but they should be kept in mind and then managed accordingly.
