Is Anxiety Connected To Being Diagnosed With Tardive Gait And Tremors?
My wife b.6/27 61 recently diagnosed with Tardive Gait and Tremors as Tardive diskenesia. Are there any specialists who can help with her Rigid stiff leg muscles and the involuntary tremors? She was treated for last three years as having sciatica..which she has however sciatica does not cause involuntary tremors. It took two trips to DHMC to get her properly diagnosed. TD is exacerbated with Anxiety and activity. Thanks, kevin
Hello, Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query. I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through. Tardive dyskinesia has a poor prognosis as it doesnt improve in a pelnty of patients. Some treatment options for the tardive dyskinesia are High dose Vit E, Clozapine, pacitane etc. which can be tried. Hope I am able to answer your concerns. If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you. In future if you wish to contact me directly, you can use the below mentioned link: bit.ly/dr-srikanth-reddy
