Is Bed Wetting A Side Effect Of Trazodone Or Symptom Of PTSD?

Hi, I have PTSD with terrible insomnia. My psychiatrist prescribed me Trazodone, which does help me sleep. However, I have started wetting the bed, which is obviously unusual and embarrassing. Is this more likely a side effect of the Trazodone, or a symptom of PTSD?

Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic

Bed wetting happens due to over-sedation. It is not due to PTSD. That may be due to trazodone. In that case, better to decrease the dose of trazodone or stop it. In that case, you should consult your psychiatrist for proper management. In case, you need further help, you can ask.

Thanks
