Hello and welcome to HCM, The interpretation of the blood report of 8 month baby is as follows: The hemoglobin level of 11gm% is low. A peripheral blood smear and red cell indices need to be done to know the red cell morphology, its hemoglobinization and other parameters. The total leukocyte count of 11,600 is normal for the age. The differential counts is also within normal limits. Lymphocytes are predominant white cells are the predominant cells during first 7-8 years of life. Beyond this age, neutrophils become the predominant cells. You need to consult your pediatrician for low hemoglobin levels, relevant investigations and then treatment.
