Is Celexa 20mg Safe For Depression?
My husband is very disconnected and never shows affection, but because I truly believed he was depressed he finally went to the doctor and he put him on Celexa 20mg. He's only been on it for 2-1/2 weeks. When can I expect to see a change in him and will the medication help him be more connected and show affection and attention towards me? He is 30 years old and weights approx 205 at 6'1".

its difficult to say when your husband started to show affection
but yes if it is really depression than with this medicines his symptoms of depression will decrease within 4 wk of treatment
full improvement will take time up to 6 months
but need to address that loss of affection is the part of depression or not
kindly ask your psychiatrist because sometimes there are other reasons also for this
need to treat all areas
