Is Delayed Periods After IUD Removal Symptom Of Pregnancy?

i had an IUD but because of problems it was removed and I started taking bc on that same date. The day I started these pills were 11/11/13. After a full 3-4 weeks of bleeding my doctor told me to take 2 pills a day until the bleeding stopped. Well I took them a little longer after the bleeding stopped in fear that it would start back. When I reached my placebo week in the first pack I allowed myself to bleed only for 3 days then started the new pack. I wasn't consistent with the pills in the second pack but didn't get pregnant. Later I would start the 3rd pack at this time I have only been on the pills a total of maybe about 6-7 weeks. I took them as prescribed then on the 3rd week I missed the first 3 pills and had unprotected sex during that time. I proceeded to take the following 3 active pills on the remaining days, then had unprotected sex on the 1 day that I should have started placebos twice. I decided not to use bc anymore therefore never took placebos. On day 6, of what would have been placebo week I had a withdrawal bleed that lasted 2 days and was very minimal- I would notice the most bleeding only when I would wipe. On day three I had a little spotting here and there and day 4 and 5 absolutely nothing. I guess my question is, is there any possibility that I could be pregnant. By the way, I took a hpt on the 3rd day but it was negative and I don't know if I tested too soon or the fact that I was spotting could have had an affect on the results. Any advice would help. Thanks

It sounds like you took the birth control. The fact that you didn't take the placebos on placebo days isn't a big deal- it's a placebo. It's not likely that you are pregnant. Could you be? Yes, but not likely. Test again if you think you may be.
