Is Dronis 30 A Contraceptive Or Helps To Cure Fibroid?

i have been diagnoised with a seedling fibroid and PCOD..and the doc prescribed dronis 30....after taking that tablet i have severe pain in my breasts and also i feel bloated and have a feeling that am gaining weight....is dronis 30 only a contraceptive..or does it help in curing the fibroid...i mean does it stop the growth of the fibroid??

Hi,

Dronis is a combined oral contraceptive used primarily in preventing pregnancy. These drugs also have non contraceptive uses such as regulation of excess or heavy bleeding and also in the treatment of fibroid. This drug does not cure fibroid and is not the permanent solution to treat fibroid but can reduce heavy bleeding, abdominal pain and can also shrink the fibroid to some extent which will reduce the symptoms.
