Is Epiretinal Membrane Related To Glucose Levels, Liver Function Etc?
My eye surgeon diagnosed epiretinal membrane, like "saran wrap over the retina that is crinkling" around the edges. Had cataract surgery 2 yrs ago both eyes. Can this be reversed through supplements, or natural ways? Is there surgery if it advances. Is this linked to glucose levels, liver function etc?
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having epiretinal membrane. This usually follows inflammations of the retina or conditions like diabetic retinopathy. Hence glucose levels or liver function does not directly cause epiretinal membrane.
Thank you
