Is Excess Intake Of Water Causes Headache?

I just got a tonsillectomy, as you know, i have to drink lots of water for it to heal faster. Well today i think i drank too much water from 10 am to 2 pm. It is now 7 pm and i just felt the a horrible headache and felt weak. Is this water intoxication?
