Is Growing Lump On Waist Be Tissue Band?
i have a lump on the right side of my waist from under my ribs to my hips. a year ago a doctor said it was probably a cyst. i never got it x-ray but now i think its bigger. its definitely more noticeable when i move and i can feel it all the time. my new doctor says its a tissue band and wants me to get an ultrasound. i cant find any info online about a tissue band of this sort... ideas? thank you.

it is best if you consult with a doctor, preferably a general surgeon, for medical and physical examination. based from your description, it could be a cyst (a sebaceous or a keratinous type), a fibroma or fibrotic tissue ('tissue band') or a lipoma. these lesions can occur anywhere in the body and have the tendency to recur. management (medical and surgical) will be directed accordingly.
