Is Hyper Salvia With Mild Atypia And Some Mesothelial In His Lungs Related To Cancer?

my grandfather is suffering from hypersalvia with mild atypia and some mesothelial in his lungs. is it cancer? if it is cancer den which stage and is it curable or can b minimizes?( symtoms-continious coughing with no blood coming,,, and diet has fallen , age 80yrs)

Hi

Since your grandfather is suffering from hypersalvia with mild atypia i will advise him to do CT scan of chest with upper abdomen to find the stage.

Treatment option is chemotherapy for 3 cycles followed by repeat CT scan to see response.

Average survival time is from 6 to 9 months.
