Is Hypoechoic Nodule In One Ovary A Cause For Concern?

I have been diagnosed with a hypoechoic nodule in one of my ovaries.Is this anything to be concerned about? am having another Pelvic Ultrasound in a few months time.I am 64 years old, post menopausal for about 20 years.Height: 5'3, weight: 66 Kgs.
Had ultrasound for post coital pink staining.
