Is Insulin Mild Dose Injection Necessary During Pregnancy?

Sir, while my pregnancy i m taking thyroid medicine 25mg and 4 times i had done test of sugar (F & PP) but in my case my Fasting range is 112 and PP range is 94 so my gynae doc. suggest me to consult diabetic doc. but yesterday my diabetic doc. said to me i will give insulin mild dose injection to u ....but sir why insulin is necessary i m not in favour to take insulin injection...........

Hi,welcome to healthcare magic forum.I understand your query.In my opinion your sugar levels are not that much high that you need insulin injection.So i would like to suggest you to get glucose tolerance test done and then review to your doctor once again.It may help you in solving the problem.No need to worry much.Good luck.
