Is Inverted Nipple A Sign Of Inflammatory Breast Cancer?
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type I just read that inverted nipple is a sign of inflammatory breast cancer, but my left nipple has always been inverted so much so that it was difficult to breast feed my son. Should I be concerned or is it normal for some people to have inverted nipple?

Inverted nipple can be congenital or aquired . You have said that your nipple has always been inverted . If you were my patient i would suggest cytology examination to rule out Paget's desease of the breast . Inverted nipple could also be a result of previous infection of the breast.
