Is It A Matter Of Concern If Sugar Is 75 FBS And 110 PPBS After Walking, Eating Less And Taking Insulin For Diabetes?
I am diabetic for about five to six years with insulin and prescription. however, after having a scare with my sugar being so high I gave up sweets, bread, carbs, and starting walking for 30 minutes. for the past week, my sugar has been what I consider low 75 or 85 fasting in the morning. after meals two hours, 110 I am not eating much since I am trying to take care of myself. should I be worried. tks.
As per your history the fasting sugar is little low when compared to normal ranges.
When ever fasting sugar go below 80 mg/dl, we need to be cautious to avoid hypoglycemia.
As you are telling that you are taking insulin, well There is one way, reduce the dosage of night insulin so that the fasting sugars will go up slightly.
Thanks
