Is It Bad For Me To Get A Tongue, Nose, Eyebrow Or Lip Piercing ?

Hello, Is it dangerous for me to get a Tongue, Nose, Eyebrow or Lip piercing ? I have a damaged heart (A heart condition) I have had a talk with my doctor about this sorta thing and she says that I cannot have any of those kinds of piercings I am 15 years young and I want to know if she and my mom are playing me Help me out? Thank you

Hi... In the presence of certain heart disease, body piercing can lead to potentially dangerous condition known as infective endocarditis. This is probably the reason why your doctors have against body piercing.. Apart from there are other potentially dangerous infections that can occur. Infections such as hepatitis, HIV and other blood bourne infections are more common in people who have had body piercing done.. Hence it is better that you avoid those...

Hello, nice to see your question. If you have a heart problem ( what you mean by this is not clear), it is better to avoid all sorts of unnecessary activities like body piercing etc. Please talk to your doctor again, he will tell you the problems which can arise. Such procedures, if lead to infections, can be bad for your heart. Please be considerate to your heart, you will definitely look better without body piercing. You can pamper your body with cosmetics, make up foundations, body lotions and scents. Wish you ever lasting smile on your face !!
