Oncologist 's  Response
Patients who have estrogen and progesterone positive breast cancer are given drug tamoxifen which is a receptor modulator and inhibits action of estrogen and progesterone on breast cancer cells.
You need to discuss with your oncologist regarding tamoxifen as giving estrogen or progesterone in receptor positive breast cancer will promote cancer growth.
