Is It Normal To Get Swell And Pain In Sprained Ankle?

I sprained my ankle pretty bad about a week ago and it is still swollen and extremely bruised and painful. I cannot put any weight on it. I am able to walk on it but I have put it up cuz of the swelling and it has a weird tingly feeling in it. Is this normal.

Hi,

I have read your query.

From your history it seems that you have tear in ligaments or some hairline fracture in bones of foot so I advise you to get MRI scan of foot with ankle dne and send me the report. Till the apply compression bandage or get plaster cast done by some doctor near by you.

Till then you can take 1 tab aceclofenac+serratiopeptidase three times a day, elevate your limb while sitting.
