Is It Normal To Have Longer Periods While On Pills And Being Sexually Active ?

I just started to become sexually active for my first time. I am on the pill, but my boyfriend and I had sex for the first time about a week and a half ago and it was on the last day of my period. Since then, I have had my period. So all in all, I've had my period for 18 days, and I'm on the pill. Is this normal?

Hi. This is not normal. Once you got your periods last time, when did you start new pill packet.and once you have started there should be no bleeding after your routine3-4 days. If you are still bleeding with your pills on, you need to get a scan done to see the cause of bleeding and take treatment accordingly after consulting a dr.
thanks.
